a sack spin

Here is a quick time movie of a sack turn that I did for my next project of a sack falling. This is a concept spin of the sack character to ensure that every angle of the sack works.

Down below are the concept drawings that went towards the creation of the sack, in addition to the character page, and the background that will be used in the final animation.

Here are concepts of how I want the sack to drop. I got bored waiting for the monster draw to begin, and I yanked out my sketchbook and jotted down some ideas, on how I want the fall to begin, plus a little thumbnail image in the far corner of the page for the path of the fall. Then including my bottle of tea that I was drinking to challenge myself.

Here is me as the great pumkin. I have my dogs with me as all of the other drawings do, but this time instead of having my fury companions as images of real life flesh and blood dogs, I decided to go the nightmare before christmas route and made them ghosts ala Zero.

here is a rough draft of the mini comic that I did. Rough concept, missing a panel or two, but I have little thumbnails of the missing pannels, and everything numbered so I can get an idea of what I need to add.

A new semester, one step closer to being done.

vintage ad

Out of all of the vintage ads out there, this one was the least creepy out of all of them. I truly enjoyed the whimsy and the cuteness of it .

Here is the original ad, with the rubber hose style that is common place in the earlier half of the previous century.

I love the little girl and the doggie that she is holding.




















Here is my interpretation of the same ad. I also captured the same cuteness that is associated with the other ad, and incorporated my two little pomeranians into this. Tiny, who went onto the rainbow bridge is peeking over my thigh, while Jasmine is staring at the moon.

pizza noid

Here is the drawing that I did of an established advertising character, the Noid from Domino's Pizza. Shocked how many in class did not know who this was.
